The name Nte̜w-krën Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Nte̜w-krën Vrët was founded by Saelheneb Dhiangul, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Overview
Nte̜w-krën Vrët was founded durring the late 12th century in summer of the year 1082, by Saelheneb Dhiangul. The establishment of Nte̜w-krën Vrët suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Nte̜w-krën Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nte̜w-krën Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Nte̜w-krën Vrët is buildings are speckled and packed arround restrictive flagstone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The somewhat suffishent have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
A look around Nte̜w-krën Vrët gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Nte̜w-krën Vrët makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had.
Civic Infrastructure

Nte̜w-krën Vrët possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Nte̜w-krën Vrët has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Cultural Notes
Nte̜w-krën Vrët's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..
Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is long in Nte̜w-krën Vrët.
The Marble Snake near Nte̜w-krën Vrët are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Nte̜w-krën Vrët's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves square dance to channel Conjuration energies of tier 2 via throat singing.
